Demikhovsky Machine Building Plant ((ロシア語:Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Demichovsky Machine Building Plant), DMZ) is a Russian Open joint-stock company that makes trains. == History == Since its inception in May 1935, the profile of Demikhov machine factory changed hands several times. These were the stages of activity in the field of chemical engineering, the peat industry, since 1992, the main types of products manufactured here are the electric DC voltage 3000 V AC and 25 kV 50 Hz. During the period of his activity as Demikhov machine factory of DMZ started production of 17 types of trains, released more than 3,000 cars commuter trains operated in Russian, as well as Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.〔(History Factory )〕 In 2006 at Demikhovsky engineering plant produced and sold 571 wagon trains (types ED4M, ED9M, ED4MK). Various spare parts company sold for nearly $40 million. In 2006 the company presented its new development - ED4MKM. In 2007 at Demikhovsky engineering plant produced and sold 630 electric train types ED4M, ED9M, ED9MK. In 2008 at the certified version of the electric train is designed to intermodal transport (ED4MKM-AERO). The company is part of the Transmashholding.
